About this Event

Explorer Martina Panisi is a conservation biologist and educator. She focused her research on the animals that the general public finds less attractive and charismatic, this led her to invertebrates, and eventually giant snails! Martina wants to show students the role that each and every person can play to protect all of our world’s biodiversity.

Join Martina for a deep dive into the snail science she’s currently working on. This event includes a presentation from the explorer and a live Q&A with students. It is recommended for middle school students and it is also offered at 10:00 am Eastern; please register for the event that works best for your class!
